Desktop Support Technician
3-4 Month Contract
One of MediStaff’s top ranked healthcare client is looking to bring on a Desktop Support Technician to their team due to growth. This client specializes in being a leading provider in the healthcare field of palliative end of life care across the Chicagoland area. They are looking to bring on an individual for a 3-4 month long contract to assist with some technical support needs.
This position offers competitive compensation, benefit enrollment, and a PTO policy. Individuals will be able to work in a healthcare environment working with cutting edge technology and work with an EMR system.
Responsibilities include:
- Work in a team setting
- Answered troubled tickets through the ticketing queue
- Handle phone calls and walk ups with technical issues
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues -laptops, desktops, mobile devices, EMR, printers, hospital carts
- Handling between 10-20 tickets a day
- Supporting password resets in Active Directory
- Troubleshoot issues with their EMR system and communicate with vendor
Requirements to apply:
- Minimum 3-6 months of experience providing desktop support
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software
- Great communication skills
- Experience with active directory
- Healthcare experience (BONUS)
- Experience troubleshooting iPhones and iPad issues
- Bilingual (BONUS)
