Desktop Support Technician

3-4 Month Contract

One of MediStaff’s top ranked healthcare client is looking to bring on a Desktop Support Technician to their team due to growth. This client specializes in being a leading provider in the healthcare field of palliative end of life care across the Chicagoland area. They are looking to bring on an individual for a 3-4 month long contract to assist with some technical support needs.

This position offers competitive compensation, benefit enrollment, and a PTO policy. Individuals will be able to work in a healthcare environment working with cutting edge technology and work with an EMR system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work in a team setting
  • Answered troubled tickets through the ticketing queue
  • Handle phone calls and walk ups with technical issues
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues -laptops, desktops, mobile devices, EMR, printers, hospital carts
  • Handling between 10-20 tickets a day
  • Supporting password resets in Active Directory
  • Troubleshoot issues with their EMR system and communicate with vendor



Requirements to apply:

  • Minimum 3-6 months of experience providing desktop support
  • Experience working with a ticketing system
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience with active directory
  • Healthcare experience (BONUS)
  • Experience troubleshooting iPhones and iPad issues
  • Bilingual (BONUS)
