We are looking for an LPN with 2+ years of experience in the medical field.
Job Description:
Tracks abnormal lab results to confirm that patient has had appropriate follow up as ordered by the physician in the patients plan of care
Triage all calls and advise appropriate clinicians
Assists in improving and maintaining the existing laboratory and pathology tracking system
Maintains precise records of all specimens obtained and sent for testing
Reviews all laboratory reports within 24 hours of their receipt
Notifies patients of normal results as determined by the physician either by confidential notification cards or telephone
Provides physicians with results for routine review prior to scanning
Assists patients requesting lab results and requisitions
Functions as a team member, providing backup coverage when required
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by physicians, RN, or site manager
Complies with all HIPAA regulations, as well as compliance and safety guidelines
Complies with all hospital, department and division policies and procedures
Pay: $26-30/hour+ based on applicable work experience
Shift: Monday – Friday 8A-5P with OVERTIME AVAILABLE
