We are looking for an LPN with 2+ years of experience in the medical field.
Job Description:
- Tracks abnormal lab results to confirm that patient has had appropriate follow up as ordered by the physician in the patients plan of care
- Triage all calls and advise appropriate clinicians
- Assists in improving and maintaining the existing laboratory and pathology tracking system
- Maintains precise records of all specimens obtained and sent for testing
- Reviews all laboratory reports within 24 hours of their receipt
- Notifies patients of normal results as determined by the physician either by confidential notification cards or telephone
- Provides physicians with results for routine review prior to scanning
- Assists patients requesting lab results and requisitions
- Functions as a team member, providing backup coverage when required
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by physicians, RN, or site manager
- Complies with all HIPAA regulations, as well as compliance and safety guidelines
- Complies with all hospital, department and division policies and procedures
Pay: $26-30/hour+ based on applicable work experience
Shift: Monday – Friday 8A-5P with OVERTIME AVAILABLE
