One of MediStaff’s top healthcare clients is looking to add a Senior SQL/ETL Developer to their team due to expansion and growth on the team. This individual will be sitting out of their Denver location and working alongside a team of 10 Analysts and Developers. This person will be a key component providing support with SQL, SSIS, and their Oracle Database. This individual will be working within various Epic modules and will trained on accordingly.

This individual will sit out of their Denver location working in a team setting. This position offers a competitive compensation package including benefits, PTO, 401k options along with the ability to receive Epic module certifications.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Working in a team setting of Analyst, Developers, and Directors
  • Work heavily within SQL 
  • Supporting their Oracle database 
  • Design and maintain their Epic modules
  • Design and maintain their current SSIS process 
  • Analyze, build and maintain any new or existing software applications, databases, and developments 
  • Prepare timelines for project plans and enhancements
  • Support an enterprise level application 
  • Write and design specifications for applications
  • Work with other team members to coordinate ideas and evaluate their life cycle
  • Design, develop and test bugs and implementations of new or existing systems and upgrades
  • Assist in leading or assigning daily duties to other junior level developers
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Work on site Monday-Friday

Requirements to apply:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing within SQL 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a SQL Developer/ETL Developer
  • Strong knowledge of SQL writing stored procedures, developing databases, and writing interfaces to interface with their database
  • Developing stored procedures, tables, views and functions
  • Ensure their current reporting systems are intact 
  • Experience assisting with ERP system updates and enhancements
  • Strong understanding and exposure to supporting an Oracle Database 
  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 
  • Bachelors degree 
  • Certifications within Epic (Bonus)
